Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is composed of integrated tools that allow end-to-end businesses management. The product has a plethora of features that can help improve your sales, financial management, customer service and overall operations.

The Business Central solution comes in two editions: Essential and Premium, including the following features.

Audit trails – Audit trails are automatically assigned, as well as posting descriptions for all transactions. You may also create reason codes to define your own audit trail.

Bank account management – multiple bank accounts can be managed to work with different currencies, and you may reconcile your bank statement data automatically to open bank account ledger entries.

Budgeting – create and manage budgets using the general ledger accounts.

Currencies – work with multiple currencies in all entities of the system, including payables and receivables, general ledger reports, resource and inventory items, and bank accounts.

General Ledger – the base of the system is where you set up companies, chart of accounts, and do posting to the general ledger, journals, post VAT, work with recurring journals and source codes.

Intrastat reporting – the solution automatically provides the necessary data to report Intrastat information to statistics authorities.

Basic warehousing – manage items on a bin level. You can pick and put away items in a bin, and move items between bins, and optimise space usage and picking processes.

Item transfers – keep track of the locations of inventory. Register movements from one location to another, and account for the value of inventory in transit at various locations.

Locations – work with multiple locations of inventory which may represent a manufacturing plant, a distribution centre, a warehouse, a showroom, a retail outlet, or a service vehicle.
